I cannot stand how desperate our school is in need of money just to build the aesthetics hub.
Raise "funds" that dont benefit the current batch of students. Look.
Our dm said ,since our 1st few principals started till last year we only got approx 2 mil /1mil raised in funds.etc.
To build the aesthetics hub would take 9 mil? or was it 6 mil?
How long will it take man??????????? By raising the price of the homecoming tix wouldnt help.
It was our 1st time last year selling tix at $10 each. means $50 at our hand.
Well, im quite ok with it cuz manita told me acs had $200.
Fine....... All these years in xinmin, seed money for homecoming has ALWAYS been $200.
Guess what? Because its the 65th anni this year and to raise "funds" .
The school will only give us the $200 seed money IF 90% of our class sold our homecoming tix.
According to the teachers la.
To say $200, its already extremely little. . Plus profit doesnt directly go to us. I mean its ok if profit doesnt go to us. But hey? I think u guys are going to far. Profit goes to the financial aid people. Oh ok fine. I have no problem with that. But even if students who are not under financial aid, i find it unreasonable.
We started raising funds for the hub since last year. What changes do i see?
12 NEW LCDS. in the xinnovate room..... more new LCDS around the school........
Showing school videos. no broadcast. no news. but videos on REPEAT.
Oh my god. I rmbr when i was in sec 1. THEY DIDNT TAKE AS MUCH $ from us.
Now, CE Notes are $3 for each person. Today, print the whole stack of portfolio ws , dont know for what. $6!! PAY SEPARATELY! oh btw. not to mention. I think we have to pay the 65th anni t-shirt that the school is coming up. I think!.
Concert tix selling at $50,$40,$30. I would rather save that sum. Not saying that im not supporting the school but like srly why waste.
