Prom tips

Ok hold on. Im just so bored and finally i found something to do! Which is to provide prom tips like what i promised before. This time for both guys and girls.

I thought that i will be all around the place before prom days so maybe i should write it earlier. Or maybe some of you guys want to buy your dresses or suits earlier.

Lets just start with the ladies'tips first :)

1)Short cocktail dresses

Why? because nobody will usually wear a gown for a prom party in Singapore. I mean you can but most of the time...... I dont see........................ Unless you get a super chio gown maybe like Vera wang than flaunt it. Plus its freaking expensive and you will not get to wear it that often....

Ok, for someone who has big bust.A low cut V shaped dress will probably suit you . But pls make sure they dont look like juggling donuts like how Snooki from jersey shore dresses.God shes horrible.

Toga dresse have been very hot lately. Celebs are pulling it off but some are not.

The pink one is from Forever21 but im not sure if they have it in singapore yet!

Gold one is from topshop. You can do it with a little greek goddess hairstyle.

For someone who prefers punk rock style, you can try these dresses

The 1st dress,makeup ,hair is the best choice to consider.

I personally prefer a dress thats tight and shows like my full body shape. Some considerations for people who have the same taste as me.

Topshop dress....but i have a feeling that some people will wear the same outfit!

Btw, everyone dressing up for prom should look like teens not like a super old mature adult so choose something young for yourself.

Of all the dresses, here are some top picks that i like!

Dont spend too much on the dress because its really not worth it. Do you attend formal events EVERYDAY??! No.... and please... most of you guys attending prom are not legal to club yet so it wont be considered as a club outfit.

2)Power suits

For some of you girls who prefer to be a little bit different... Instead of wearing a dress which is so cliche among girls, you would choose to wear a powersuit...

What is a powersuit??? If you dont know, you really can go bang wall and die.

HAHAHAH just kidding. Something like a suit but for ladies, and i love it because it can really show your curves. Celebs looking hot in them

Btw blake lively is wearing a dress (not really a powersuit but looks amazing..) from victoria beckham's collection. I haven really found some inspired looks for a reasonable price. But if you want to get it, you can check armani (pretty expensive). Or go for these ...

Playsuits are really fine but you have to know how to pull it off.

3)Hair

The most important thing for girls. HAIR!!!!!!

For girls who are gonna let your hair down with shoulder length hair. Soft curls will do the trick. Its the ultimate hairstyle that goes with everything.. I mean if you are wearing a toga then maybe you should try a braid.. If you are letting your hair down, please do not wear heavy necklaces cause it will look too heavy on the top. Geddit??? No?? then thats too bad.

For a smart look, you girls can sleek back your hair all the way with a nice high ponytail.

Its called the sleek ponytail.

Just some wax at the sides of your hair and a tight hairband.You dont have to know the steps. You can add a little bow if you want to act "cute" or curl the ends of the ponytail.

Lastly, the famous nicole ritche braids!!!!! Ooooo!! i so want to do this!!! HEHEHHEHEH

4) Make up

Err........ Make up is a must must................ For girls who contradict and say you dont put make up so you want to go with bare face. Just stop talking rot. NONSENSE!!! YOU WILL PUT MAKEUP EVEN WHEN YOU ARE OLDER. So must why just put now......... Plus those who say ,"aiya no need make up la, i chio enough" Just stay at home.

Everybody have dark eye circles, uneven tones etc okay. Nobody's perfect dumbass!!!!!!

Ok so lets start... The common look girls would go for would be the smokey eyes.

There are different kinds of smokey eyes. Different shades etc....

The usual black, brown,dark blue...

Just play around with the shades. Here are some runway looks i love!!

Keira's(on the left) makeup is also a smokey eye look, just abit lighter.

However, you might prefer light makeup so these looks would pull it off

AND please girls......... At least some blusher, concealer and mascara........

Nude make up is also fine. Some mineral powder and alot of skin tone blushers that shows your cheekbones.

Btw mac is very good with nude makeup..Bobbi brown also.

FOR BOTH HAIR AND MAKEUP..

You dont have to spend big bucks to go all the way to a makeup counter or hair salon to do your hair. Its stupidd!!!!!!!Unless you are really hopeless in makeup skills then go!

YOUTUBE!! GOD INVENTED YOUTUBE TO HELP YOU!!!

Just a simple typeout of whatever look you want and you get tutorial videos!! They are all around the net!!!!! Easy step by step hairstyles and make up look!!! They even have lady gaga's look okay!! You girls just have to purchase the eyeshadows etc at a nearby drugstore. Dont really have to follow the brands that the tutorial uses, just the same shade will do!!

5) Shoes!

To finish off your whole look, you just need shoes!!!!

For girls who do not wear heels or do not ever wear them, flats/pums is alright!!!!

Something sweet and decent is fine. Just have to take note that the colour of your shoes should be about the same colour as the bag that you are going to take.

Super high heels that i prefer.

Since its prom, maybe you want some sparkles or bling bling. Rhinestone heels are the best choice. Some of them come in very reasonable height and easy to wear!

New look is a place where you may want to consider getting shoes. BUT LET ME WARN YOU.

They are freaking painful if you wear them for long hours. The heel is also very high. If you cant walk in such high heels, please dont buy. One, you dont know what are the chances that you are going to wear it again. Two, please dont make yourself look like a duck walking across the ballroom during prom. Pick a shoe that really is comfortable for you. Charles and keith is out of my list although sometimes they do really have pretty shoes. :)

Ok im finally done with the top 5 prom tips. I know i still have to guys' tips to write but im feeling super sleepy now . Hahahah so bye im going to sleep!!!

Btw this is just my advise from my point of view. Im not acting like a fashion police pro telling you what is a MUST blahblahblah. So dont take into hand too much.
